Recreational Vehicle Inspections
New or Used Purchase
Whether you are buying a new RV and want a trained Recreational Vehicle Inspection to identify the things that the dealer should be fixing prior to you taking possession or you are buying a used RV and want to make sure you know which items may need attention we can help. Whether you are looking at a Trailer, Motorhome, 5th Wheel we provide you with a detailed reports that covers the functionality of all major components and systems.
Why do I need an Inspection?
RVs are not built like cars, in fact even identical models built in the same week can be very different. With the RV industry continuing to recover from Covid supply chain issues and worker shortages you should not just “Trust” that your new RV has been built without problems. And, if you are buying used, you never know what issues might be hiding from the untrained eye. Our inspection covers all the major RV Components and Life Safety items.
During the inspection we will check the Electrical Systems (3 in total), Water Systems (3 in total), Appliances, Running Gear, and validate all life safety detectors are operational and within their lifespan. We also do a full top to bottom evaluation of the physical condition of the RV and identify any potential sources of Water Intrusion – The number one killer of RVs. We will operate all slide-outs and awnings and verify that all doors are operational.
Additionally, on motorized units we can pull fluid samples to be analyzed for containments and wear metals. This is a great way to get a “Blood Test” for your RV. Fluids for analysis can include Engine Oil, Engine Coolant, Transmission Oil, Generator Oil.
